Day 51- R-E-C-E-S-S

Stone enjoying a little recess time with his friends at Sonshine school... I have to admit I think he feels gipped that he has to play on the little playground while Mommy's class is on the big one!

Nothing like nice cold ice water to cool you off in the 95 degree weather!

Day 50- So Delicious!

We enjoyed some very delicious かつどん made by Reiko and Yu kun this evening!  It was so good and such a happy reminder of Japan.  I miss Japanese food so much... we were spoiled tonight... they even did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen!
Stone enjoyed his rice with furikake... he was not so sold on the pork!

Day 49- A True Oklahoma Cowboy

Pops came to OKC for one more visit before he heads back to the Boston area.  We decided to hit the National Cowboy Museum.  It was a great way to escape the heat... the 102 degree heat!

Lj, Stone and Pops stop to pose for a Three generation of Littlejohn boys picture!
Stone and Pops enjoyed riding the "horses"... look at the beautiful scenery!
Trying out the littlest one!
Stone is not too sure what to think of this longhorn!
Stone... give me a hug boy!
Showing off his tattoo... why are tattoo's so taboo for many in the older generation?
All dressed up like a cowboy... complete with boots, spurs and chaps!
Stone trying his hand at roping... he was so excited to swing the rope.
Uh Oh!  His first trip to the slammer!
A longhorn, Stone and Mommy!

Day 48- Wet Fun

Earlier today we headed to the sprayground with the Kelleys to get out of the house but to stay cool...

Stone was ready to go... hat, sunscream (love that he calls it sun SCREAM) and flipflops!

I love this face...
Concentrating on how to spray the hose!
After the water we headed to the park... we stayed a total of 10 minutes at the park... it was way too hot!

Day 47- Fun with the Kelleys

We had a great night last night... we enjoyed a great dinner with the Kelleys followed by watching the boys swim in the wading pool.

I could not get both Joe and Stone to look and smile at the camera!

I did not bring Stone anything to swim in but the Mickey drawers worked out just fine!

Day 46- Funfetti!

This is the reason I believe Stone likes to shred paper to this day!

These pictures were taken last summer... I had a moment of insanity and let Stone play in the paper shreds... it made the biggest mess but he was so happy to throw and "swim" in in the paper!

Day 45- Bouncin' Fun

Our friends, Tyna and Joe, invited Stone and I to join them at a new bounce place in Edmond... it was a bit pricey but fun nonetheless and the added bonus was it was an escape from the 100 degree weather!

A little overwhelmed at all the bouncy things... it took him a while to warm up...
Ready to go and have fun!

Sliding with a friend from his "new school"... AKA Edmond Sonshine school

Day 44- Child Labor

When it is time to get rid of all the junk mail and other personal papers... Stone is right there to help!

First, you must separate the papers...
Next, line it up straight over the opening...
Last, let the shredder do it's business!
It is so sweet that Stone is such a great and willing helper!

Day 43- Genki Boys

After dinner Stone changed his clothes so he could match Yu kun... a jinbei top and jeans.  They posed in a yankee pose for me.

Stone loved reading the book with Yu kun... they were having boy talk... the book was making all kinds of funny sounds!

Day 42- I'm Obnoxious...

That is what Stone kept saying as he played with baby Molly's little fish!  He comes up the funniest stuff... of course he loves Finding Nemo

Day 41- Mr. Play-Doh

Stone loved playing with the PLay-Doh at Unpluggits... even got the courage to ask the owner how all the pieces worked... This was his wacky creation!

Day 40- This is What Happens...

when you go four long hard days with out a nap...
When I came home after Camp Sing-a-Lot on Thursday, Reiko and Stone were both asleep on the bed... Stone woke up, cried for me and came to the couch to be loved on and quickly fell back asleep for about 2 more hours.   Reiko tired him out!

Day 39- Sit Back and Listen

There is nothing better than sharing a good book with a good friend!

Day 38- Dance Like No One is Watching...

Last week, the Chans  stayed with us by while Mark attended to some business here in OKC... Stone loved having a playmate all day long.

One HOT afternoon, Freedom and Stone enjoyed dancing around the livingroom with orange streamers... orange is Freedom's favorite color!

Day 37- An Evening Swim

This evening we decided to hit the pool for a swim and called the Gillhams at the last minute to join us.  They came and brought watermelon along with them... Stone had so much fun swimming with them... he thinks Greg and Arianne are the best of friends and we could not agree more.

Here is Stone and Arianne after a swim and some messy but oh so tasty watermelon!

Day 36- Faith and Freedom!

Last Sunday night our church and the church next door had wonderful evening of food fellowship and fun... complete with inflatables, a petting zoo, music and fireworks!   We invited our friends the Kelly's to join us and I was so glad they were able to make it on such short notice.  It was a blessed time for everyone there... it is so wonderful to belong to a wonderful family of God!

Stone enjoy petting the animals... he liked the goat but was scared of the camel!
Sand castles are fun to make even if there is no beach in sight.
While Jake, Joe's brother, enjoyed playing in the puddles.
Even Lj found something fun to do... man the grill for an hour!
