A few weeks ago Lj took his students on the weekly field trip to the
Wichita Mountains. Of course I could not pass up opportunity to see another great part of Oklahoma so Stone and I tagged along! We enjoyed the car ride... Stone was pretty happy the whole time!

After standing on top of the mountain we headed to the wildlife center... very cool hands-on part for Stone to touch all the antlers and fur... so FUN!
We got to see some longhorns and Elk/ bison wandering... they were really close to the car.
After a busy day we stopped in Meers to enjoy a famous
Meers Burger... made from Longhorn beef... it was tasty but I much preferred the peach cobbler for dessert.
It was great to see another part of Oklahoma... and it was nice to see a part that was not flat!
