Day 85- Just Like Daddy...

As we were enjoying some ice cream the other night Stone turned around and said look, "I have a moosetash and goaty just like you, daddy!"  He comes up with the funniest stuff!

Day 84- Paint Your Face

Stone and his buddy, Joe, enjoyed painting their face at the Omniplex.  Joe completely covered his face in pink while Stone was a bit more conservative and just added a few lines of color.  Unfortunately, neither boy would stand still for a photo shoot after the painting madness... but trust me they looked cute!

Day 83- A Day Out with...

THOMAS!

Today when Stone got dressed he put on his Thomas shirt, and that jogged my memory that A Day out the Thomas was coming to the Railway Museum here in Oklahoma City.  After a little research I realized it was here starting today!  So, Stone and I headed down there this morning... entry was free, all the activities other than the train were free... the crowds were minimal and the waits were very short... what more can a mom ask for?  We had a great time even though I decided to forgo the $20.00 each train ride... possibly one day we can take theHeartland Flyer to Texas.  Of course, one must hit the overpriced gift shop... I let Stone chose one thing and he decided on a new lunch box.

The cute shirt that triggered the whole event!  Thanks Grandma Littlejohn!
Our little conductor!
Mom-O is great at making balloon art... Stone was very intrigued!
Here is the final product... a fish on a fishing line... pretty amazing!
One can never get enough of trains...

Stone and I waiting in line to meet Sir Toppin Hat again... the first time they stopped right when it was our turn!
All proper meetings begin with a handshake!
I am quite proud of Stone for standing with him... and holding his hand!
Here comes Thomas!
Watching so intently...
Finally a photo with Thomas... notice the lunchbox... he loves it!
Pondering the memories of the day!

Day 82- Long Lost Friends... Reunited

Two years ago when the Chan family left Japan we knew our paths would inevitable cross but I never imagined we would have the joy and pleasure of actually living in the same town again.  God answered many prayers for both our families by bringing the Chans to Oklahoma.  I am blessed by Charity's friendship... I know I can go to her with any situation being open, honest and transparent with her.  God has truly blessed me with her friendship.  I hope and pray that Stone and Freedom can grow up together forging a friendship that will weather all types of seasons.

These boys look so happy and content to be together again!
Off to catch a squirrel... I am just glad the squirrel is faster than these two!

Day 81- 34 Candles!

We celebrated Lj's 34th birthday with a potluck.  We had a bunch of friends over and it was so much fun... each person at some point had some impact on our life and Japan together... from Johnny O. offering us a position and Angi telling Lj he was stupid not to go to Yu Kun who is an OC student and dating one of the young girls (who is now an OSU grad student) that came to church with her mom.    It was such a fun evening and a great way to reconnect with people who had such an influence in our lives for so long. God definitely blessed us richly thorough our time in Japan!

Stone loved playing with Elijah and "my brothers" (aka Heath and Briar).  The boys were all born in May beginning with Elijah in 2003 and ending with Briar in 2006.
Lj and his cake... Mariannes favorite kind... Carrot Cake!
Reiko got Lj a pedi egg... FYI: it works great!
Lj rockin' out to a musical card from Greg and Arianne!
We had so much fun and it was such a blessing to fellowship with our friends again!

We headed to the park with some friends after school yesterday!  Of all the equipment the boys spent a good chunk of most of the time playing in the water.... what is it with water?!?

Day 78- Zoo Friends

It was such a beautiful day today... 70 degrees, blue skies and a happy child... we headed to the zoo for a little fun this morning.  Joe, Tyna, Jake joined us... we had such a great time.

Stone and Joe bouncing on the bridge!
The only monkeys we saw today!
Loving the tortoises.

The boys goofing off... really killing time to stay longer!

Day 76- Just a Swingin'

Stone and I enjoyed a beautiful morning at the park with Joe, Jake and Tyna. Stone's favorite things at the park today were... 'sliding down and swinging supersonic fast!'  We even got to enjoy a little picnic!  I love the cooler weather!

Day 75- Indoor Camping

Lj had to go to Target the other day so Stone went to Aunti HoHo's house to play! Stone had a great time "camping" with Auntie Ho Ho and Rei Rei while daddy was shopping and helping Mark get some new decorations for his new office!

The gangsta look!
A crazy bunch of friends!
Daddy takes a  turn in the tent!
I shamelessly stole these pictures from Hitomi... Thanks Hitomi!

Day 74- Cooling Off

Stone and I walked to the new park in our neighborhood the other day... it was 97+ outside so the Little Man decided to take my triple filtered water and dump it on his head!  Crazy Boy!
A fun party hat... wanna party Mom?
It is a cheesy party!
I love this boy... he is such a fun & happy little man!
